Sections

After composing and producing “Dream” in September, 2025, I created an album called “Always”. I had become infatuated with a way of creating music that was new to me — working in sections.

I had grown bored with making songs that had traditional song structures; verse/chorus/verse/chorus/bridge/chorus had lost its thrill. That sort of song-writing had begun to feel constraining to me. Well, after some back-and-forth, I became more settled in to composing in sections and mixing those sections into to songs that repeat a lot less.

My most recent, 5-section song is now on bandcamp. It’s called “Winding Grind/Deepspace Mining/Promises/There Could Be Hope/Texturefunk”.
